I would start to follow numerous tech sites, blogs, and I would also watch countless videos of unboxings as well as reviews. Furthermore as time passed by, I would buy every generation of iPod, and pretty much any other product that was made by Apple. Moreover, I would also watch every conference that Apple conducted, so that I kept up with the latest and greatest Apple news and product line. From when I was younger until now, Iââ¬â¢ve seen Apple grow as company, as well as fall, but the person that would keep them in line was the one and only Steve Jobs. Gender Inequality in the Financial Sector Inequality based on gender is an ongoing ethical issue that many women still face in the workplace. Gender inequality refers to unfair treatment and perceptions on another personââ¬â¢s gender and tends to happen a lot in many different companies and organizations. These types of inequality can range from women getting paid less then men or women not chosen for high positions in companies such as CEOs. As Hannah Gould points out in her newspaper article, ââ¬Å"We re good at citing examples of women in influential posts, but in reality, women hold only 14% of board seats and 2% of CEO positions in the financial services despite making up 60% of its global workforce.â⬠(Gould, 2014). This type of gender discrimination should be dealt with immediately but has not been tackled upon yet as sufficiently as we have hoped. As more and more laws are produced, the gender pay gap is either staying the same or widening. Also, in some instances, men are being promoted to higher positions in firms and companies where woman are only holding small marginal roles in those firms and companies. ââ¬Å"Men hold 83% of the executive committee positions within top US companies, leaving 11% of women in staff roles and 6% in line rolesâ⬠(McCullough, 2014). The next stage is storage that is used to save all the processed data. The data is stored so that it is available for the future use and can be used as the proof. It is also stored to prevent full loss of data. There are various mediums that can be used to store data that i ncludes pen drives and CD (Rosemann and vom Brocke 2015). Information systems incorporate individual and scientific mechanism to gather, store, process and allocate the information needed by fraction or a complete association. An information system can either be specialized or general. It is a system to collect and store business data and information to use it for its benefit. It helps in managing the operations of the business firms to interact with the customers and its suppliers at marketplace. It also helps the businesses to compete better in the global environment and marketplace (Shapiro and Varian 2013). Issues of Information System Though information system is a very useful tool in managing business it has many issue and problems as well. The main issues of the information system development are as follows: The first problem or the issue of the information system is that it leads to low productivity, large number of failures and inadequate alignment of information systems with the business needs. It implies software crisis. The reason for the issue or the problems is high cost of the software development and limited supply of the personnel funding. It has also resulted in large numbers of outright failures. These failures can arise due to economical mismatch, and product failure. The third failure is the poor alignment of Information system of the business needs. The problems are maximized with an increase in the complexity and size of software product. The other problems or the issues are that it lacks features that the companies need to formulate the goals of the companies.
